Meet the Doctor

Dr. Meng completed her dental degree in Taiwan, finishing 1st in her class. After graduation, she practiced general dentistry for several years before joining The Ohio State University, where she completed her three-year residency and a Master of Science degree in periodontics. Dr. Meng is a board-certified periodontist and a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She is a professional specializing in the field of periodontics and implant dentistry and has been very active in both academia and private practice. 

Since starting her dental career in 2007, Dr. Meng moved to Cypress, TX in 2014 with her husband and children and made it their home. She has been serving patients from all over Houston metro area by providing them direct patient care as well as collaborating with multiple interdisciplinary teams of general dentists and other specialists in order to carry out what’s best for her patients.

Dr. Meng is currently an Associate Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston (UTHealth) School of Dentistry. Over the years, she has mentored and supervised many dental students and residents in their clinical education and studies. Not only is she an educator, but also a pioneer in clinical research of dental implant and periodontology.  She has published many scientific articles in peer-reviewed dental journals, and presented at both national and international conferences.

Dr. Meng takes great pride in her conservative approach when it comes to treatment recommendations. She ensures that patients receive the most appropriate and essential treatments. Through her expertise, Dr. Meng goes above and beyond to ensure that each of her patients receives the highest standard of care and have a healthy and long-lasting smile built on strong periodontal foundation.
